Dance Lessons

Tika is ten years old and her biggest passion is traditional Georgian dancing. Tika has taken on a responsibility: she has promised to help a group of disabled children prepare a dance for a live show. Tika is excited for the challenge but quickly realizes the difficulties ahead – it’s hard for the children to remember their steps.

Dance Lessons delves into the topic of equality and encountering others. The film shows the respect everyone deserves, no matter their background. Dance Lessons urges us to face our challenges, and open our eyes to an emphatic world.

15 countries along the colorful ancient Silk Road, 15 children (11-14 years old) who give an insight into their lives and challenges. A documentary series for the whole family told from the children’s perspective, delving into rich cultural portraits and addressing universal issues of growing up.
